Khulekani Cele, a multimedia fine artist was born in KwaZulu-Natal at Mpumalanga Town Ship, Hammarsdale, South Africa in 1993. Cele has an Honours Degree in Visual Arts. In 2021, he was a second-prize winner of the My Creation SA March Competition. In 2022, he was selected to participate in the Artbank of South Africa's PESP3 2022/ 23. He currently lives and works in Durban, South Africa.
