Born in 1974 in Dakar, Senegal, Ibou Ba is a traditional drummer specializing in Djembe and Sabar. He has lived in Austria since 2010 and has performed at various prestigious events. In 2022, he released his CD "Mama Africa."

Ibou Ba was born in 1974 in Dakar, Senegal. Born into a family of musicians, he grew up with traditional Senegalese music and began learning drumming (Djembe, Sabar) at the age of 10. He has performed with groups such as "Ballet Afrique Noir," "Ballet Daradji Dakar," Ouza Diallo, and various other musicians and ensembles. Since 2010, Ibou Ba has lived and worked in Austria and Senegal. In Austria, he has performed at Impulstanz and dance courses with "Ballet Tilibo," Ismail Ivo, and Germaine Acogny. He has been engaged by notable musicians for their concerts in Austria, including Baba Maal, Prince Zeka, Mamadou Diabate, and the Daradji Family. Ibou Ba Daradji Percussion also performs with Harald Huber and Max Doblhoff. In 2022, Ibou Ba released his CD "Mama Africa."
